Go Rafting Down the San Miguel River

Join us on a thrilling raft trip down the San Miguel River in Telluride, CO. We will be traveling through a lush and vibrant ecosystem with stunning red sandstone canyon walls. Eventually taking off the water after some class II and III rapids and shuttling you back to your vehicles.

We will start just 5 miles Northwest of Telluride. We provide your group with the best equipment and the most experienced guides. As we raft down one of the few remaining undammed free-flowing rivers in Colorado we will take in the sites and the rapids. You are sure to be inspired by the narrow canyon and the sheer beauty of the San Miguel River.

Itinerary Morning or Afternoon Half-Day ($109/person)

  • Class II-III+
  • 1.5-2 hours on the river
  • Guideline age minimum is 10 years old
  • $109/person: Price includes transportation, all rafting equipment, wet-suits when needed

9:00 am – meet at the M&M parking lot in Placerville (240 Front St, Placerville, CO 81430)

9:30 am – Safety speech and equipment check Push off

12:30-1:00 pm – back to Placerville at your vehicles 

Afternoon Half-day ($109/person)

Specie creek to Beaver creek

2:00 pm – meet at the M&M parking lot in Placerville (240 Front St, Placerville, CO 81430)

2:30 pm – Safety speech and equipment check Push off

5:30-6:00 pm – back to Placerville at your vehicles 

Full day ($169/person)

  • Class II-III+
  • 4 hours on the river
  • Guideline age minimum is 10+ years old
  • A riverside lunch included in the full-day tour
  • $169/person: Price includes transportation, all rafting equipment, wet-suits when needed

10:00 – Meet at the public parking lot in Placerville near M&M Merchantile: 240 Front St, Placerville, CO 81430

11:00 – Ready Rafts, Safety Orientation, Launch Rafts

4:00 – Take off the river

4:30-5:00 – Return to your vehicle

Two days one-night Multi-Day ($499 per person)

  • Class II-III+ Rapids
  • 2 days on the water and camping one night
  • Guideline ages 10+ years old and up
  • Day one lunch and dinner included
  • Day two breakfast and lunch included
  • $499 per person: price includes transportations, all rafting equipment, and meals.

DAY 1 ITINERARY

10:00 am – Check-in, sign release forms, get dressed for the river! 

  • Shuttle to the river, safety orientation
  •  Hit the river
  • Enjoy the continuous Class II splashes of the fast-flowing San Miguel River.
  • Challenge the Class III rapids of “Three Sisters” and “Saw Pit”
  • Stop out for a riverside lunch
  • Paddle through more continuous Class II rapids
  •  Take out and relax by the river or explore on a hike as your guides prepare a delicious meal
  • Camp out in the Colorado Wilderness

DAY 2 ITINERARY

  • Wake up to coffee and breakfast to fuel you up for your day.
  • Jump back on the river for more Class II splashes as the canyon changes to high desert scenery.
  • Enjoy another delicious riverside lunch.
  • Raft even further down the San Miguel.

4:00 pm Take out and shuttle back!

Three days two nights Multi-Day ($699 per person)

  • Class II-III+ Rapids
  • 2 days on the water and camping one night
  • Guideline ages 10 years old and up
  • Day one lunch and dinner included
  • Day two breakfast, lunch, and dinner included
  • Day three Breakfast & Lunch included
  • $699 per person: price includes transportations, all rafting equipment, and meals.

DAY 1 ITINERARY

  • Start your day of 4-5 hours of splendid rafting
  • Stop for lunch on the way to keep you fueled
  • Take out and relax by the river or explore on a hike as your guides prepare another delicious dinner

DAY 3 ITINERARY

  • Wake up to coffee and breakfast to fuel you up for your last day.
  • Enter Ponderosa Canyon with its wilderness camps and more defined rapids reaching Class III rapids at high water
  • Enjoy another riverside lunch
  • Take out and shuttle back

4:00 pm – Arrive back at your car
